Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This Privacy Policy explains how [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], trading as Capital Lead Connect ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit this website (the "Site") or submit an enquiry through our forms.

By using the Site or submitting a form, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit your information.

1. Who we are

Capital Lead Connect is a lead generation business. We run marketing campaigns to reach business owners seeking commercial funding, qualify their enquiries, and supply those qualified enquiries to funding brokers and lenders who have engaged us.

We are not a lender, broker or financial adviser. We do not make credit decisions, we do not issue funding, and nothing on this Site is financial, legal or tax advice.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Name, business name and job role
  • Email address and telephone number
  • Business location, market or territory
  • Funding products placed or sought, funding amount and intended use of funds
  • Time in business and monthly revenue band
  • Lead volume requirements and any notes you choose to provide

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, approximate location, device type, browser and operating system
  • Pages viewed, time on page, referring URL and exit pages
  • Cookie and pixel identifiers, including advertising click identifiers and UTM campaign parameters
  • Form interaction data, such as which step of a multi-step form was completed

Information from third parties

If you submit an enquiry through an advertising platform's native lead form (for example a Meta or Google lead form), that platform passes us the fields you completed there. We may also use business data providers to verify or enrich business details such as trading address, industry or company status.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for and do not knowingly collect bank account numbers, card numbers, government identification numbers, tax identification numbers, credit reports or credit scores through this Site. Do not submit that information in a form field or by email. If you are asked for it later in a funding process, that request comes from a lender or broker, not from us.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and contact you about it
  • To qualify an enquiry against the lead criteria agreed with our clients
  • To supply qualified leads to the funding broker or lender for the relevant market
  • To verify lead quality, handle disputes and prevent duplicate or fraudulent submissions
  • To send you service communications, follow-ups and, where permitted, marketing
  • To measure and improve our campaigns, pages and forms
  • To keep records and meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations

4. Legal bases for processing

  • Consent — for marketing calls, texts and emails, and for non-essential cookies
  • Contract — to deliver the service you asked us about
  • Legitimate interests — to operate, secure and improve our business, where this does not override your rights
  • Legal obligation — to comply with applicable law

5. Calls, texts and email consent

By submitting a form on this Site and providing your telephone number, you give your prior express written consent for Capital Lead Connect, and the funding broker or lender your enquiry is matched with, to contact you at that number by telephone call, SMS text message and email about your funding enquiry — including through automated or pre-recorded means and automatic telephone dialling systems, where used.

Consent is not a condition of any purchase, service or funding approval. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

To stop text messages, reply STOP. For help, reply HELP. To stop emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email. To be removed from calling, tell the caller or email [PRIVACY EMAIL]. You may also ask to be placed on our internal do-not-call list at any time.

You confirm you are the subscriber or customary user of the number provided, and that you are authorised to give this consent on behalf of the business named in your enquiry.

Full SMS program details are in section 3 of our Terms & Conditions.

Mobile opt-in data and consent records are not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Who we share your information with

  • Funding brokers and lenders — the client for your market receives your enquiry so they can contact you. Once received, they handle your data under their own privacy policy, as an independent controller.
  • Service providers — CRM, marketing automation, hosting, form, telephony, email, analytics and advertising platforms acting on our instructions.
  • Advertising platforms — conversion and audience data, which may be matched against platform accounts.
  • Professional advisers — accountants, lawyers and auditors where needed.
  • Authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property or safety.
  • Business transfers — a buyer or successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some advertising and analytics activity may count as "sharing" or a "sale" under certain US state privacy laws; see section 9.

7. Cookies and tracking

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember form progress, measure campaigns and attribute conversions. These include the Meta Pixel, Google Analytics / Google Ads and LeadConnector.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, our cookie banner. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works. Browser "Do Not Track" signals are not standardised and we do not currently respond to them; we do honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where legally required.

8. How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed for the purposes above and then for [RETENTION PERIOD] after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required for legal, tax, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes. Consent and opt-out records are kept for as long as needed to honour your choices and evidence compliance.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Delete your information
  • Receive a portable copy of your information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, and of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right

To exercise a right, email [PRIVACY EMAIL]. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authority.

If you are in the UK or EEA, you may also complain to your supervisory authority. If you are in California, you may appeal a refused request by replying to our response.

10. International transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries outside your own, including the [COUNTRY]. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls, encryption in transit and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children

The Site is intended for business owners and professionals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, email us and we will delete it.

13. Third-party sites

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the most recent version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
